Happy New Year!

Wishing You and Yours a Ridiculously Awesome 2019!

God gave me, the rebel, a second chance!  Me, sinful me! His amazing grace has taken residence in my heart and taken over my heart!  I wake up each morning with my heart leaping with hope! I have tried, as much as humanly possible, to invite Jesus into the places where the evil one has taken up residence.  I believe the renewal of all things is just around the bend.  I know in every fiber of my being that NOTHING IS LOST, that everything will be restored (and then some)! God has given me armor against discouragement, despair, and hopelessness. I am one happy person!  Joyful, really!  I have decided to not let anyone or anything cheat me of this hope.  Nothing will diminish the power, beauty, and significance of this hope above all hopes.  The thrill of hope resides in me.  I long to follow Jesus, whom lived the way he did in this world because hope was set beyond this world---that is the eternal secret he gives all of us!  God’s power has broken off every chain—resurrection power!  Fear no longer stands a chance when I stand in the firm foundation of God’s love! It is available to all!

My heart is filled with rich expectations and images of all the goodness coming to me. I pray my ecstatic joy will be unstoppable, contagious, that I can be God’s joyful revolutionary.

I have found myself by losing myself in his love. This path we all journey on is unique to each of us.  Today, the end of 2018, I live with abundant hope for a new year.  As I completely abandon  myself to God, the more freedom I have to love others with this abundance of love and hope!  It is uncontainable, really!  I guess I can only kneel before the presence of my King because he took the rebel of me and dealt with my sin. My Father removed it from me “as far as the east is from the west” (Psalm 103:12).  I stand at the start of this new year CLEAN.  When God looks at us, he doesn’t see our sins. He gives us a new heart!  That is the promise of the new covenant:  "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you.  I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh (Ezekiel 36:26)."  This is why it is called GOOD NEWS!

Too many Christians are living back in the old covenant, believing that their heart is deceitfully wicked.  Not anymore it’s not!  In Jeremiah 31:33 it says, “I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. I will give them a new heart!” Did you read that—A NEW HEART! Let’s walk into the new year together KNOWING that Sin is NOT the deepest thing abut you! You have a new heart! Your heart is good!
